Michael Jackson's former wife, Lisa Marie Presley feels that she could have saved his life if she stayed in touch and she now regrets for not doing so.
In interview with Oprah Winfrey, Lisa Marie Presley said, "I know that it's naive to think that I could have (saved him) but I wanted to. Michael Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley back in 1994 and the much hyped marriage lasted for only two years.
Lisa Marie Presley, who is also a singer, and Jackson were married between 1994 and 1996. She now lives in England with her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, and their twin daughters. Lisa Marie Presley said on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Thursday that she unable to make peace as she stood over Jackson's casket during his funeral and wonders if she could have done something to prevent his death.
Winfrey recently carried out an interview at Jackson's family home and his brother Randy expressed anger about it, raising
speculation she spoke to the singer's children. After Jackson died, his children Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12 and Blanket, 8, moved in with their grandmother, Katherine.
